A Founder's Story.
Manuel has spent more than 18 years building and scaling fast-growing FinTech companies. As a founder and CEO, he experienced how difficult it can be to turn strategy into action as organizations grow and complexity increases. Driven by the question of why some companies execute strategy faster than others, Manuel explored this challenge both in practice and through academic research. His doctoral work on performance management in fast-growing digital companies led to the development of the 10xBSC framework, combining strategic clarity with execution and alignment. Trendbird was founded at the intersection of entrepreneurial experience and research. By integrating AI and AI agents, the platform helps organizations continuously align strategy, goals, teams, and decisions — not through control, but through clarity. Manuel holds an MSc from the European Business School and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
